General Manager Luxury Restaurant

Location: Cape Town

Salary: R35000 Negotiable DOE

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced General Manager for a high-end smart-casual restaurant in Cape Town. This role requires a polished hospitality professional with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in managing premium dining venues.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth efficient service

Maintain high standards of guest experience and service delivery

Lead motivate and manage the full front-of-house team

Implement and maintain operational systems and service procedures

Manage stock controls ordering budgeting and cost efficiencies

Ensure brand standards are consistently upheld

Handle guest queries feedback and conflict resolution professionally

Support business development and contribute to growth strategies

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a General Manager in a similar environment

Strong leadership and team-management skills

Proven track record of achieving operational excellence

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong understanding of smart-casual dining standards

Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Solid administrative and financial acumen
