Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the companys marketing and scheduling operations across a complex multi-state production this highly analytical role theyll interpret data across groups flows and packer commitments to ensure the right pigs get to the right place at the right time. The coordinator will be a key liaison between production logistics and marketing analyzing load performance adjusting schedules generating insights and supporting quick decisions that directly impact profitability and efficiency.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze marketing and flow data to support daily weekly and long-range scheduling decisions.
- Manage load scheduling and adjustments to ensure proper flow timing required down days and optimized utilization.
- Generate and distribute reports (daily weekly monthly quarterly) to Marketing Managers Directors and senior leadership.
- Monitor and reconcile load schedules vs. commitments resolving discrepancies to minimize transportation issues.
- Negotiate open-market sales with packers as needed to secure optimal pricing and grade value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with packers transportation and marketing teams to address schedule changes or disruptions.
- Maintain compliance with drug withdrawal and animal welfare requirements across all market loads.
- Collect and reconcile packer data ensuring accuracy in accounting carcass data imports and financial reports.
