Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Resident Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco networking
technologies and working knowledge of F5 load balancers. The role requires on-site presence to
manage monitor troubleshoot and maintain enterprise network infrastructure ensuring high
availability performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
Cisco-Focused Responsibilities (Primary)
Configure monitor and support Cisco network devices including routers switches and
firewalls.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for LAN WAN and wireless network issues.
Implement VLANs routing protocols (OSPF BGP EIGRP) and network segmentation.
Manage and support Cisco IOS/IOS-XE device upgrades and patches.
Monitor network performance availability and security events.
Support Cisco security solutions such as ACLs VPNs and firewall rule management.
Perform network changes maintenance activities and documentation updates.
F5 Responsibilities (Secondary)
Monitor and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
Perform basic configuration and health checks of virtual servers pools and nodes.
Support SSL certificate updates and basic troubleshooting of F5 services.
Assist with F5 firmware upgrades under guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
36 years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP VLANs routing switching and network security.
Working knowledge of F5 BIG-IP or similar load balancing technologies.
Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
Ability to work independently in an on-site environment.
Strong troubleshooting documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
CCNA / CCNP (preferred)
F5 certification (optional / nice to have)
