Atlanta Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with 12 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing MS SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance integrity and security while assisting the development team with change management performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Administer maintain and support MS SQL Server databases across development and production environments.
Perform backups restores and manage recovery models.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization (PTO) using native monitoring tools.
Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
Configure and maintain database servers and processes to ensure system health availability and security.
Approve developers change requests for database objects (tables procedures indexes constraints triggers views).
Assist developers in performance tuning and query optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in real-time.
Automate routine processes monitor database jobs and track/document changes.
Collaborate with teams to manage database transitions across multiple product lifecycle stages.
Requirements
Required Skills
Minimum 1 years of experience as an MS SQL Server MY SQL Server Postgre SQL server and Mongo DB.
Strong knowledge of SQL queries stored procedures indexes and query plans.
Proficiency in backup/restore strategies and recovery models.
Solid understanding of HA/DR setups and replication techniques.
Experience in Windows Server environments.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
Ability to work independently and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
