Business Process Analyst
Location: Toronto
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate current end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct process analysis and recommend automation or optimization solutions to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Capture business requirements and design future-state process workflows.
- Create and maintain process documentation such as process maps SOPs and workflow diagrams using Visio/ARIS.
- Support process implementation and monitor performance during the control phase to ensure sustainability.
- Collect analyze and interpret process data to assess capability and performance (SPC Minitab Excel).
- Perform impact analysis and measure the effectiveness of process changes.
- Collaborate with business units product owners IT and automation teams to gather requirements and resolve issues.
- Communicate process changes clearly to stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives and manage project timelines and stakeholder coordination.
- Identify potential risks in process changes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies and industry best practices.
- Facilitate workshops presentations and discussions with diverse stakeholders including executives.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in process documentation and ongoing monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business.
- 68 years of experience in process improvement and product/application lifecycle development.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) DMAIC Agile and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio ARIS) and data analysis tools (SPC Minitab Excel).
- Ability to analyze complex processes identify root causes and develop actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities across cross-functional teams.
- Project management skills including planning risk mitigation and stakeholder alignment.
- High attention to detail and diligence in documentation and process monitoring.
Nice to Have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Experience in enterprise-level process modernization
