Case Mix: Full-scope outpatient obstetric and gynecological services

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Meditech

Specialty Backup Available: OB/GYNs RNs LCSWs health coaches lactation counselors childbirth educators and other specialists

Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary clinical team

Reason for Coverage: Ongoing locum outpatient support

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Comprehensive midwifery care

Outpatient obstetric and gynecological services

OB triage assessment and emergent patient care

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Current RN and APRN license in Florida required; Florida-only licensure accepted

Board: Active certification with AMCB required

Certifications: BLS required; NRP preferred; additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound Advanced Fetal Monitoring and/or Lactation consultation preferred

Experience: Experience managing intrapartum postpartum and OB triage in a hospital setting preferred; 2 years of experience preferred

Other Qualifications: Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary OB/CNM practice; strong communication interpersonal skills and patient-centered care approach

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient clinic setting

Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological patient services

Triage and care for emergent obstetric cases in collaboration with clinical team

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Attend skills training and drills focused on high acuity and low frequency events

Collaborate with OB/GYNs RNs LCSWs and allied health professionals to support patient care
