Senior Town Planner
Location: Cardiff or Bristol (Hybrid)

The Opportunity
A well-established and respected planning and design consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to join its expanding team in either Cardiff or Bristol.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in delivering a range of high-profile development and regeneration projects helping to create sustainable and well-designed places across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects from early feasibility to submission and determination
- Prepare planning applications assessments appeals and policy representations
- Conduct site appraisals research and planning strategy work
- Provide high-quality planning advice to clients partners and stakeholders
- Engage with local authorities community groups and statutory consultees
- Mentor and support junior planners within the team
- Assist with business development proposal writing and client relationship management
Candidate Requirements
- MRTPI qualified or working towards full chartered status
- Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and local planning policy
- Demonstrated experience in either planning consultancy or local authority planning
- Excellent communication report writing and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage projects independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Organised proactive and commercially minded
