Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR/PAYROLL MANAGER to compile and maintain payroll records for our company. Job duties will include (but are not limited to) preparing and processing payrolls; maintaining payroll and tax filing records produced by the system; preparing and filing periodic reports; preparing and filing paperwork for all new hires/terminated employees; maintaining records for vacations and sick-day eligibility; managing employee benefit eligibility; enrollment and payments in coordination with controller; maintaining accurate income and deduction data; processing workers comp claims; between payrolls this position assists the executives and accounting office with data entry or other miscellaneous duties.
Office is at Mercedes Benz of Lafayette location
Salary is commensurate with experience
Qualifications
Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with ADP Payroll preferred
Dealership Accounting experience preferred (CDK Drive)
Other
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Proficient in Excel/Word
Professional personal appearance
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet companys production and quality standards
