Summerland Farm is seeking a capable and hands-on Farm Services Leading Hand to support daily operations across our large avocado and macadamia orchards and to lead a small team delivering farm service contracts across the region. This is a practical leadership focused role suited to someone with strong agricultural experience confidence with machinery (including tractors and harvest equipment) and a passion for safe high-quality farm work.
You will support orchard activities such as harvest pruning irrigation checks pest and weed control and seasonal readiness while also coordinating and guiding a small crew to deliver off-site commercial farm services. The role requires strong judgement communication and the ability to plan and prioritise work in changing weather conditions and seasonal demand.
As part of Summerland Farms diverse operations youll work alongside teams in horticulture tourism food production retail and maintenance gaining exposure to multiple business units and contributing to meaningful employment.
