Aero Test is a group of engineers and technicians within Engines & Power Systems Engineering Test Services (ETS) organization. We plan and execute gas turbine engine component sub-assembly and core engine tests for all Propulsion engines and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). We are currently supporting new gas turbine engine technology development and test Facility Upgrades. We are leading and supporting various Engineering Transformation initiatives focused on delivering the data our customers need under accelerated schedules.
As a Senior Advanced Test Engineer here at Honeywell you will lead a team provide technical expertise and ensure smooth operations in our business unit. Your skills will drive project success and business growth. You will report directly to our Senior Test Engineer Manager and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on an On-site work schedule.
TheSenior Advanced Test Engineerwill lead test coordination program test estimates facility design and capital projects for one or more product lines and as such will be accountable for the preparation coordination and execution of Engines and Power Systems (E&PS) Aero test requests quality data being the key deliverable to our customers. Additionally this role will lead facility and test equipment design and maintenance for a wide variety of components sub-assembly or core engine test programs/projects.
Laboratory Engineers within Test Services work with a wide variety of stakeholders in all aspects of test facility design and maintenance test equipment design configuration and upkeep test planning and test execution. An Engineer in this role will leverage their knowledge of engineering processes discipline and tools to estimate plan and execute tasks and projects related to the development of Honeywell engines. This role also mentors and trains the cross functional team to achieve all objectives for the engine test programs utilizing demonstrated experience.
