Locum Thoracic Physician Opportunity in Richmond VA

Join a respected facility at Bon Secours St. Marys Hospital of Richmond as a Locum Thoracic Physician. Located in a well-equipped hospital this role offers you the chance to work alongside a dedicated thoracic team while providing exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform bronchoscopy robot-assisted thoracic surgery and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS).
Conduct navigational bronchoscopy endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
Manage tube thoracostomy tracheostomy and pericardial window procedures.
Address complex cases including thoracic aortic aneurysms mediastinoscopy and segmentectomy.
Perform lobectomy bilobectomy pneumonectomy and thoracotomy.
Engage in specialized procedures for advanced lung disease GERD and esophageal cancer.

Qualifications:

Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery (Required)
Active Virginia Medical License (Required)
BLS and ACLS Certification (Required)
Local Provider Mileage reimbursement only (Required)

License and Certification Requirements:

Active Virginia State Medical License
Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery
BLS and ACLS Certifications
