Certification and Compliance Manager

Nobian is looking for a Certification & Compliance Manager to lead and coordinate renewable product certifications.

Your Challenge

As Certification & Compliance Manager you will be the focal point for all renewable product certifications (e.g. ISCC PLUS ISCC EU) within Nobian. You will ensure that all low-carbon products maintain their certification by managing and coordinating audits and overseeing the registration of new low-carbon products across internal functions. This role requires close collaboration with various departments such as Sales & Marketing Customer Service Planning Logistics and Manufacturing within a matrix organization.

You will be a part of the Technical Service team located in Amersfoort and will be reporting to the Senior Manager Technical Service and Sustainability.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as the in-house expert on low-carbon regulations for Chlor-Alkali Chloromethanes and Salt products and on RFNBO EU and UK RTFO for Hydrogen.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on certification requirements for low-carbon products. Ensure timely certification renewals.
• Own and optimize certification processes for Nobian sites in collaboration with local site representatives and stakeholders. Maintain and improve operational processes and documentation for certifications.
• Coordinate internal and external audits including training and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and internal stakeholders to register new low-carbon products. Provide input for sustainability initiatives such as LCA approaches.

Have you got what it takes

• Degree in Environmental Management/Engineering Sustainability Sciences or Chemical Process Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in the chemical industry.
• Familiar with chemical manufacturing processes and certification processes
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (German is a plus).
• Structured process-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
