Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to the growth strategy and involves managing a generalist book of middle-market commercial lines accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Property & Casualty insurance exceptional relationship-building skills and a strategic mindset. This position offers a collaborative and performance-driven work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $75000 - $85000 annually commensurate with experience
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k)
- Work Arrangement: On-site with the option for hybrid work (2 days remote per week)
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of a generalist book of middle-market commercial lines accounts (Property & Casualty)
- Handle A-Z account management including quoting new and renewal business
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and placement resources to ensure client satisfaction
- Utilize Hawksoft software for account management and documentation
- Contribute to the agencys growth by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role; 3 years preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hawksoft software or similar platforms
- Soft Skills:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on long-term growth
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on opportunities
- Self-motivated and confident in decision-making
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach
