The UM Shore Regional Health network serves the Mid-Shore region which includes Caroline Dorchester Kent Queen Annes and Talbot addition to its two hospitals University of Maryland Shore Medical Centers at Chestertown and Easton UM Shore Regional Health includes two freestanding emergency centers in Cambridge and Queenstown and UM Shore Medical Pavilions at Cambridge Chestertown Denton Easton and Queenstown and a broad array of inpatient and outpatient services in locations throughout the five-county region. UM Shore Regional Health also provides urgent care services in Denton and Easton through UM Urgent Care.

The organizations affiliate UM Shore Medical Group employs physicians and advanced practice providers who provide care in office and clinical locations in towns throughout the five-county region including Cambridge Centreville Chestertown Denton Easton Galena and Queenstown.

JOB SUMMARY:
Demonstrates the ability to administer quality nursing care in a professional manner which supports the patient/significant others utilizing the nursing process with coaching and mentoring from his/her team members. Practice supports System and Nursing Strategic Plans Shared Leadership and the principles of Relationship-Based Care. Practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Maryland and adheres to institutional policies procedures and standards. Practices within the standards of the American Nurses Association for: Scope and Standards of Practice Code of Ethics for Nursing Nursings Social Policy Statement and Specialty Nursing Standards for his/her area(s) of clinical practice.

Qualifications :

• BSN preferred.
• Specialty certification encouraged.
• Meets licensing requirements to practice registered nursing in the State of Maryland.
• Must meet all applicable state and local professional requirements.
• BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certification required.
