Home Cleaner Serving Clients with Disabilities
We are looking for a dedicated and trustworthy Home Cleaner to provide professional cleaning services for clients with this role you will ensure homes are clean safe and comfortable helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. If you are reliable attentive and committed to working respectfully with people from all backgrounds this position may be right for you.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general cleaning duties such as vacuuming sweeping dusting mopping floors cleaning kitchens and bathrooms and emptying bins.
Change bed linens wash and fold laundry and tidy living spaces in accordance with client requirements.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely following instructions and observing any allergies or sensitivities.
Follow the clients preferences and routines to deliver tailored cleaning services.
Respect the privacy and personal space of all clients.
Report any issues related to cleaning or home safety to your supervisor.
Maintain a polite and professional manner at all times.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and company guidelines.
Skills and AttributesExperience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Reliability punctuality and a positive attitude.
Respectful and sensitive approach to working in homes of people with disabilities.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications and RequirementsNDIS Worker Check.
Valid drivers licence and access to reliable transport (preferred).
Proof of right to work in Australia.
Willingness to undertake ongoing training as required.
Working ConditionsThis is a mobile cleaning role requiring travel between clients homes typically during standard business hours. Cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided.
