Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Specialist who will play a pivotal role in shaping our local data strategy and acting as the key liaison with the corporate team. This position is critical to ensuring that our unit has structured high-quality data ready for AI and LLM consumption while maintaining strong data governance and enabling advanced analytics capabilities. You will combine technical expertise with strategic vision to influence decisions and deliver scalable solutions.

What you will do:

- Design and implement robust data architectures aligned with corporate standards and local business needs.

- Ensure data governance quality and security across multiple sources and platforms.

- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data integration and transformation.

- Prepare and optimize data for AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.

- Act as a technical leader and strategic advisor bridging local and corporate teams.

- Document data models processes and standards throughout the lifecycle.

Skills:

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple clear language appropriate to the audience.

Database Design: Knowledge of database systems; ability to establish a data model for designing an organizations database that runs effectively and efficiently for better business outcome.
ETL Process: Knowledge of the extraction transformation and loading (ETL) process; ability to develop a database through the ETL process.

Modeling: Data Process Events Objects: Knowledge of data process and events; ability to use tools and techniques for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among data processes or events.

Basic requirements:

- Bachelors degree in IT or related areas

- Pre Advanced English (written and spoken) for effective communication with global teams.

- Strong proficiency in SQL Python and data engineering tools.

- Experience in data modeling (conceptual logical and physical).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure).

- Solid understanding of data governance security and compliance best practices.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Top candidates will also have:

- Fluent in English

- Experience preparing data for AI/ML and LLM-based solutions.

- Knowledge of data quality frameworks and metadata management.

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear business-friendly manner.

- Experience with Snowflake is required and Data bricks would be plus!

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP)

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
