Senior Technical Support

Job Purpose and Impact

The Technical Support position willleadthe completion of routine analytical and laboratory testing of customer this role you willreceiveprepare testsamplesdocument results of tests and communicatethose results(LIMS). You will also check and monitor the instruments and equipment thatisused during the testing process.

Key Accountabilities

• Receiveprepareand processsamplefor laboratory but not limited to database entry upon sample receipt samplegrindingand sample scanning
• Perform routine instrument diagnostics and preventative maintenance activities. Assist with equipment troubleshooting and repair as required.
• Perform a variety of laboratory analyzes including physical chemical physical-chemical tests (NIR XRF ICP Spectrophotometer titrations Gravimetry ELISA enzymatic assays and others)
• Assist in onboarding of new analytical assays and assist in method development.
• Conduct complex inspections for sample properties utilizing laboratory equipment and various analytical methods.
• Understand andcomply withsafety regulations and other procedural compliance campus safety provide a safe work environment for self and others.
• Maintain inventory management for laboratorychemicalsconsumablesand samples.
• Interpret and document results of all tests and internallycommunicatesresults asrequired(LIMS).
• Provide leadership coachingtrainingand mentoring to team members.
• Workin accordance withgood laboratory practices.
• Handle complex clerical administrativetechnicalor customer support issues under minimal supervision while escalating only the most complex issues toappropriate support for data quality and database tools such as SharePoint to track and follow up on customer issues.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma secondary education level or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience.
• PC and MS Office competence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree.
• Experience with email spreadsheet presentation and word processing applications.
• Proven experience in production related work.

The expected hourly range for this position is $24 - $28. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location certifications education and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
