Job Summary
High School Math: Algebra 1 and qualifications:Valid Ohio high school teaching licenseAbility to work with diverse cultural backgroundsEffective written and verbal communication skills Flexible resourceful enthusiastic and high energy levelMust have a valid drivers license and personal transportationResponsibilities:Be willing to create engaging instructional activities that go beyond textbook learningHave the ability to creatively assist students who are faced with significant personal or learning challenges to increase students achievement and moraleBe competent in all areas of Ohio Graduation AssessmentsBe committed to ongoing professional learning and growthBe willing to use technology effectively in the classroomBe willing and able to team with colleagues and college facultyCommit to students and the ultimate goal of graduationIn collaboration with counselors and teachers hold parent/student conferences on a quarterly basisMaintain accurate data and records to document all activities and services providedAnalyze quarterly grades district assessments and end-of-course data for student progressMentor and follow through with the identified students over a sustained period of timeEstablishes and maintains cooperative relationships with students school personnel and familiesAll other duties as assigned by district administration and/or building principalPlease submit the following: letter of interest resume and copy of license BCI/FBI checks and three letters of recommendation to or mail to:Early College AcademyATTN: Danny Graves 137 E.
