Location
Hybrid position based inLos Angeles CA. Most weeks you will workfour days in the office and one day remotely giving you the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of a weekly work-from-home day.
Note
To qualify you must have3 years of commercial litigation experience beadmitted to the California Bar and have alaw school GPA of at least 3.0. Alaw school transcript and writing sampleare required for interview.

Job Description
- Represent sophisticated business and individual clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
- Handle cases involving breach of contract tortious interference breach of fiduciary duty and other business torts.
- Draft high-quality pleadings motions discovery and trial briefs with strategic insight and meticulous attention to detail.
- Take and defend depositions of parties fact witnesses and experts.
- Argue motions and appear in court for hearings conferences and mediations.
- Assist partners with overall case strategy factual development and trial preparation.
- Communicate regularly with clients and colleagues managing day-to-day case responsibilities and deadlines.
- Collaborate with other practice groups as needed with opportunities to touch related areas such as intellectual property litigation.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school with a3.0 GPA.
- Admission to theCalifornia Barin good standing.
- 3 years of civil litigation experienceat a reputable law firm.
- Solid commercial litigation background including contract and business tort matters.
- Prior experience arguing motions and taking or defending depositions is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional legal research writing and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a collaborative professional demeanor.
- Intellectual property litigation experience is a plus but not required.
