Job Summary:
The Painter is responsible for maintaining and keeping the building and furniture in a proper condition by regularly repainting and varnishing according to specifications.
As aPainter we rely on you to
- Assesses area to be worked on for choice of colour and type of paint/shellac.
- Determines type of paint work to quantify amount of paint/varnish to be used.
- Choose appropriate colour of paint/varnish to blend with background or as instructed.
- Determines if special treatment is required in surface to be painted.
- Ensures that relevant departments are aware of work by informing departments concerned when work is to start and when expected to be completed e.g. FO and when to release them.
- Ensures that safety & health procedures are adhered to at all times.
What we are Looking For
- Two years operating experience in a hotel Engineering department.
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Teamwork mindset.
