About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 covering areas such as product design resistant materials electronics and computer-aided design.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage students to explore design briefs experiment with materials and utilize modern manufacturing techniques.
- Assess student progress through project work design portfolios and practical assessments providing detailed and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the design technology curriculum and participate in extracurricular design clubs and competitions.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design Technology or a related field.
- A strong understanding of design principles manufacturing processes and current technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and experience with workshop equipment.
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for inspiring students to become creative and innovative designers.
