About the Role
As the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for planning executing and delivering major engineering and operational improvement projects within a highly specialised manufacturing environment. You will drive cross-functional project teams engage with stakeholders at all levels and ensure that outcomes are delivered on time within scope and within budget. You will play a key leadership role in advancing engineering excellence process optimisation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycles from initiation and scoping through to commissioning and handover.
Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate with design production quality and operations.
Develop detailed project plans budgets schedules and risk assessments.
Oversee project governance documentation change control and reporting.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturing quality requirements.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency throughput and product quality.
Manage contractor performance procurement deliverables and vendor relationships.
Report progress to senior leadership and ensure adherence to strategic timelines.
Minimum Requirements
Mechanical BEng degree (mandatory).
8 years experience in engineering project management within manufacturing aerospace automotive composites or similar sectors.
Proven experience leading complex capital process or product development projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
Excellent project planning budgeting and risk management capabilities.
Advanced communication leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
