About the role

We are currently seeking a CSS (Case Work Support Scheme) Coordinator on a full-time basis in Stockton. The CSS Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all calls enquiries and referrals and will action these promptly and in a professional manner.

  • First point of contact for all incoming calls enquiries and referrals for the CSS Program.
  • Enter all enquiries and intake records into the system.
  • Generate quotes liaising with internal and external stakeholders including DCJ.
  • Create client profiles.
  • Coordinate a team of Support Workers while overseeing the delivery of therapeutic services to families children and young people.
  • Provide support mentoring supervision and leadership to CSS Workers.
  • Enter available shifts into rostering system and notify workers of the availability.
  • Monitor and review shift reports to ensure they are completed and meet legislative requirements.
  • Monitor relevant inboxes actioning emails and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive working environment that models Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) principles.
  • Ad hoc admin duties as required.

What do you need

  • Previous experience and/or demonstrated motivation to work with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work from the office located in Stockton.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Clear and current Working with Children Check.
  • Clear and current National Criminal History Check.
  • Advanced computer skills.
