Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Huntingdon
Hours: Part time 16 20 hrs per week
Salary: 28000 - 30000 pro rata
Were looking for a highly organised Accounts Assistant to join a small business in Huntingdon taking on a wide range of responsibilities. This is a hands-on role where accuracy attention to detail and the ability to meet accounting deadlines are essential.
What will you be doing in the accounts assistant role
- Sales and payments reconciliations using Sage 50
- Credit control
- Setting up new clients on Sage
- Raising credit notes/refunds
- Purchase ledger - Inputting Supplier invoices - Sterling and US Dollar
- Banking
Experience/qualifications required:
- Previous experience in an accounts role
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to self-check work
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office particularly Excel
- Experience with Sage 50
- Highly organised proactive and able to manage your own workload
- Driving licence and own transport required due to location
