Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design development delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics Intelligence & Data Technology (AIDT) Client Platforms Core Technology Services (CTS) Financial Advisor Platforms Global Banking Technology (GBT) Investment Solutions Technology (IST) Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST) Technology Delivery Management (TDM) User Experience (UX) and the CAO team.

Core Platform Services

Core Platform Services is responsible for driving Resiliency Automation Performance Stability and Efficiency across Wealth Management Technology.

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What youll do in the role:

* As an Automation Engineer works with thin the squads work on automating the applications from End to End perspective UI DB and API
* Works on design and development of automation framework
* Work on requirement specifications identify gaps and determine testability and testing implications
* Identify and create test scenarios design and develop complex end-to-end test scripts
* Create frameworks and scripts for UI DB Analytics and ETL testing
* Conducts POC and R&D on new tools/technologies assessment on their fitment and provide recommendations.
* Work closely and communicate progress to the leadership on a regular basis
* Contribute to Automation Frameworks and automate testcases ensuring comprehensive automation coverage
* Work on adoption of AI based testing solutions

What youll bring to the role:

At least 4 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

3-5 years of experience in Desktop and Web automation Database testing ETL testing Data Quality testing for web-based applications and desktop application testing

* 2 years of experience on Data Analytics and Reporting testing using Tableau
* Should have deep hands-on experience on SQL relational databases writing stored procedures triggers views etc.
* Hands on experience in database automation jobs and services automation
* 2 years of experience in Unix/Linux scripting
* 2 years of experience in Java PowerShell python
* 3 years of experience in test automation development using Selenium web driver Cucumber
* Should have hands-on experience in CI/CD using TeamCity GIT Jenkins JIRA
* Should have knowledge of Test Automation methodologies like BDD Data Driven and Keyword Driven frameworks
* Knowledge on API test automation using Java or Groovy using any JMeter SoapUI Rest Assured etc.
* Good to have experience or knowledge on PowerShell Python Java Desktop Automation etc.
* Experience in Agile based scrum teams and solving complex problems
* Experience in working in teams spread across geographies and closely tracking deliverables
* Excellent leadership communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
* Prior AI adoption experience is a plus
