Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in this role you will be responsible for testing cloud-based AI inference services APIs and data pipelines. Your focus will be on automation and validation of backend systems (excluding BI dashboard validation).
(Work from the office Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain browser-based UI automation tests using tools such as Selenium or Playwright with JavaScript or Python.
- Validate data flow across services and ensure accuracy of model outputs.
- Execute integration regression and performance testing.
- Collaborate with global development and QA teams.
- Coordinate with engineering teams across China and the U.S. to ensure cross-functional quality standards.
- Own the entire testing lifecycle including test planning design and execution.
- Design implement and optimize automation frameworks tools and test scripts.
- Identify product flaws proactively and ensure issues are resolved before release.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Agile development and tools like JIRA.
- Background in data analytics or database management is a plus.
- Self-motivated proactive target-driven and innovative mindset.
- High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in test automation and quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience testing AI/ML components and backend services
