Heres how a(n)Labour Relations Administrative Clerkfor our Edmonton Industrialoffice contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Supporting theLabour Relationsteam through preparation for daily events and follow up actions (e.g. scheduling and coordinating meetings maintaining action lists and reminders meeting preparation).
  • Ensuringtimelines are monitored and achieved by multiple stakeholders.
  • Assisting the Labour Relations team with onboarding processes by liasing with other departments and craft employees.
  • Providingclerical assistance with correspondence and preparation of emails letters and documents as well as electronic and manual filing of documents.
  • Providingdata entry support.
  • Verifying documents with various provincial authorities.
  • Assisting with other general administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 or more years of administrative experience preferably in the industrial construction sector is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma or certificate in office administration program is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and service-oriented approach internally and externally.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Self-management skills to plan organize and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Detailed-oriented.
