Due to Government Contract all viable candidates must have an active US Secret Security Clearance or higher
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician with an active Secret clearance to support end users in a secure government or defense environment. This role provides technical troubleshooting system support and incident resolution for desktops laptops networks and mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills technical knowledge and experience supporting IT systems in a DoD or federally regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier I/II technical support for hardware software and network issues both remotely and on site.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Install configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems mobile devices printers and approved software.
- Support account creation and maintenance within Active Directory M365 and other secure systems.
- Maintain image deploy and track government-furnished equipment (GFE).
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and information security policies (NIST DoD STIGs).
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of tasks procedures and ticket history.
Requirements:
- Due to Government Contract all viable candidates must have an active US Secret Security Clearance
- 2 years help desk experience
- Bachelors Degree preferred
