The Retail Performance Manager for the APAC Region is responsible for driving operational excellence sales performance and customer experience across diverse retail markets. This role requires strong cross-cultural leadership regional strategy alignment and the ability to coordinate across multiple countries with varying market dynamics. The manager partners closely with Commercial Education Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure consistent execution of brand standards and achievement of commercial targets.
- Monitor and analyze store KPIs (sales conversion ATV IPT AUP productivity etc.) across APAC markets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve underperforming stores.
- Lead quarterly performance reviews with Retail teams across different countries.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards SOPs and operational policies across diverse retail environments.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits throughout the APAC region to assess execution and identify areas for improvement.
- Support new store openings and refurbishments with operational readiness plans tailored to local market needs.
- Partner with Education and HR to identify training needs and support capability building across culturally diverse teams.
- Coach Retail teams on leadership performance management and business acumen.
- Foster a culture of accountability empowerment and continuous improvement across markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align retail strategies with regional business goals.
- Support promotional and VM execution to maximize impact and ROI across different consumer segments.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes with regional insights.
- Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on regional data analysis.
- Track progress against strategic initiatives and KPIs across APAC markets.
- Bachelors degree in Business Retail Management or related field.
- 5 years of experience in retail operations or performance management preferably in a regional APAC role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail metrics and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across APAC markets.
