POSITION PURPOSE

The Sales Officer oversees sales activities within a designated geographical area focusing on agricultural products and services.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Manage and develop sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Lead motivate and guide the sales promotor team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the agricultural sector.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of agricultural products services and industry trends to effectively communicate offerings to customers.
  • Train mentor and provide continuous support to sales promotor to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance market trends and forecasts for management review.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations and other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and industry regulations.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers and oversee sales activities
