Job Overview:
The Office of Connie Pillich Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney is seeking a qualified Team Support Specialist II for the Victim/Witness Advocate Division. This staff member will provide coverage for Victim Advocates support the Victim/Witness Advocate Division by assisting with notifying and maintaining communications with victims and witnesses and provide coverage for the front desk. The Team Support Specialist II position largely splits time between assisting on victim cases in the courthouse and performing office duties at the Prosecutors Office. Office duties include phone calls generating letters to Victims and covering the front desk. This position requires exceptional customer service skills. This position will oftentimes need to perform additional administrative office duties as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide docket coverage for assigned Victim Advocates in Juvenile Municipal and Felony Courts and Grand Jury as needed.
  • Provide victims their family members and witnesses information regarding all court hearings.
  • Act as a liaison between Victims and the Prosecutor.
  • Provides information on social service agencies that offer assistance to Victims.
  • Assist with additional case related and other duties as needed or assigned.
  • Provide daily front desk coverage for Receptionist: receive and screen incoming calls; take messages/notes; and timely communicate messages/notes to appropriate person.
  • Respond to all inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
  • Welcome and greet visitors in a warm and friendly manner and answer any questions visitors have.
  • Assist with generating printing folding and mailing letters to Victims pursuant to Marsys Law.
  • Conducts self with professionalism and maintains confidentiality of HCPO work product.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required to support the mission and function of the Victim Advocate and Intake Divisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Knowledge of legal proceedings and terms.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Highly organized detail oriented and quick learning ability when new tasks are assigned.
  • Flexible and motivated.
  • Strong computer skills and comfortable learning and navigating new and different data systems.
