Job Summary
Job Summary
The Back-End Developer is responsible for designing and developing back end systems for applications and digital platforms. The role also ensures server performance system integration data security and overall efficiency of back end operations. The developer works closely with the technical manager and other team members to deliver stable and scalable back end solutions.
Must be based in Egypt.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain back end servers and website backend systems.
2. Build and develop APIs and integrate them with front-end interfaces.
3. Ensure efficient database management and maintain their stability and scalability.
4. Improve backend system performance troubleshoot technical issues and resolve performance-related challenges.
5. Write clean well-structured scalable and high-quality code.
(Main task approx. 70% of the role)
6. Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving team performance.
7. Implement security standards and ensure data protection within the application structure.
8. Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure full technical integration.
9. Perform unit testing and integration testing.
10. Document systems and programming updates regularly.
11. Participate in planning sessions and analyze project requirements.
12. Manage development tasks evaluate risks and support delivery across projects.
Qualifications :
Technical Skills
Strong experience in backend development (PHP Laravel).
Experience in building RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
Strong experience with databases such as MongoDB PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles.
Proficiency in version control systems (Git / GitHub / GitLab).
Good knowledge of server administration and cloud platforms such as AWS or DigitalOcean.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and handle project pressure.
Discipline meeting deadlines and ability to work under structured plans.
Strong communication skills and the ability to document work professionally.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements.
Academic Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
23 years of hands-on experience in backend development (or an equivalent distinguished academic degree).
Ability to attend meetings or work on-site when required (essential requirement).
