Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Configuration/Data Manager (CM/DM) to provide comprehensive configuration and data management support to an established program area. The Configuration/Data Manager will collaborate with program personnel to ensure alignment with contractual requirements internal standards and industry best practices. The role involves planning managing and reporting on documentation created to fulfill customer configuration requirements and supporting Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) technical editing activities.
Essential Functions:
- Experience in utilizing PDM/PLM Document and Data management applications.
- Creating and maintaining configuration baselines supporting developmental production and sustainment programs.
- Coordinating Engineering changes ensuring approval requirements are met and implementation is managed.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to Contract Statements of Work (SOW) policies procedures and technical documentation. Provide strategic oversight to ensure that all documentation and configuration records meet or exceed compliance standards. Ensuring content creators follow data identification marking review and release procedures.
- Reviewing and approving/rejecting all formal program documentation coordinating with contracts organizations and customer regarding new or changing requirements and integrating with program teams to coordinate deliveries.
- Ensuring identification definition implementation release and maintenance of data items and Supplier and Contract Data Requirements List (SDRL and CDRL) schedules are in accordance with program requirements.
- Proactively identifying data errors and ensuring accuracy.
- Supervise the organization review and authorization of new and revised drawings and documentation. Guarantee that all program documentation complies with internal standards formatting requirements and contractual obligations and that proper document control procedures are applied.
- Direct the Configuration Change Board (CCB) process including the review modification and approval of documents drawings and associated records. Ensure clarity compliance and completeness in all change-related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Understanding of ASME Y14.100
- Understanding of DoD 50101.12-M Procedures for the Acquisition and Management of Technical Data
- Knowledge of EIA-649B EIA-649C or MIL-STD-973 Configuration Management Principles as they apply to both Hardware and Software
- Experience reading and understanding Contract Statements of Work
- Experience with PLM relevant tools like Vault Professional PDM Agile PLM Windchill or Teamcenter
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado is $65500 - $121500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
