Job Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java Microservices Developer position! This is a 12 month contract opportunity and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What Youll Be Doing:

Analyze design and develop complex software solutions.
Contribute to strategic direction from technical analysis through user acceptance.
Direct and support less experienced developers.
Manage technical components of project plans.
Test debug and document systems.
Evaluate program interactions and suggest new technologies.
Maintain system performance and functionality.
Provide detailed technical and functional specifications.
Participate in vendor software evaluations.
Ensure compliance with company risk and regulatory standards.

What Youll Need to Have:

Hands-on experience with the following:
Spring Boot Framework 3.x.x & Java 21
DevOps using GitLab Pipelines SAST mitigations
ELK Stack (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana)
Red Hat Linux Servers
Shell Scripting (Linux/Unix)
MS SQL Server
Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred)
5 years Java development experience
Ability to coordinate across teams and drive project timelines
Proactive and action-oriented mindset
Deep understanding of integrated applications and enterprise architecture preferred
Experience with banking or financial applications preferred

Pay Range:$55-$70/hr
