Job Summary

The Shella Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors children veterans and individuals with disabilities. Through strategic grants community partnerships and fundraising initiatives we empower individuals to live independently in their homes. We are looking for a Remote Data Entry Assistant to support our team by inputting updating and maintaining data in our systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented highly organized and capable of handling tasks efficiently in a remote work environment. This role requires strong attention to detail accuracy and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update data accurately into company databases and systems.

  • Perform data cleaning and validation tasks to ensure data integrity.

  • Organize and maintain data files ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Respond to queries and requests for data from internal teams.

  • Prepare and generate reports based on entered data as needed.

  • Assist in identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies in the data.

  • Support the team in managing and processing documentation.

  • Follow data management procedures and adhere to confidentiality standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or higher is a plus).

  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role (preferred but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Comfortable with remote work and proficient in using communication tools like email Slack Zoom etc.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
