Location: Hounslow West London
Contract: Contract Full Time
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: 450-500 per week
About the Role
Ribbons & Reeves are looking for a caring proactive Pastoral Teaching Assistant to help support the personal social and emotional wellbeing of our students. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people feel understood supported and
ready to learn.
Pastoral Teaching Assistant:
What Youll Do
- Build positive trusting relationships with students
- Provide daily pastoral support listening guidance and encouragement
- Support behaviour attendance and engagement across the school
- Assist with early interventions and wellbeing programmes
- Support in classrooms when needed to help students stay focused
Pastoral Teaching Assistant:
What Were Looking For
- A warm patient and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Resilience and a calm manner especially during challenges
- Experience working with young people (school or child setting preferred)
