As a Unit Coordinator this position requires the individual to work 8 hours per day for a total of 40 hours per week. The Unit Coordinator assigns cases; serves as lead worker for other clinicians; helps orient and train new clinicians;oversees the development and implementation of unit programs and activities; participates in agency-wide committees and functions as necessary and required to facilitate the delivery of services; and coordinates clinical and administrative activities as necessary to facilitate the smooth functioning of the treatment team while assuring adherence to applicable policies procedures laws and rules.As a Certified Forensic Examiner conducts forensic evaluations prepares reports to various courts of law and offers Expert Witness testimony in legal proceedings as required.As a Chief Clinician performs a range of psychotherapeutic services to assigned patients.

Education
Possession of a masters degree in social work.
Experience
Three years of professional experience providing social casework and treatment services equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker including one year equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker P11.
Registration as a social worker by the Michigan Board of Examiners of Social Workers.
Certified Forensic Examiner by the Center for Forensic Psychiatry.
The preferred and appointed candidate will be subject to pre-employment random post-accident reasonable suspicion return-to-duty and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing.
