Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic respiratory care team at a leading hospital in Ocala FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory treatments manage ventilated and high-acuity patients and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

• Active Florida Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license

• CRT or RRT credential (facility may prefer RRT)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) typically required or obtained within first months

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work with high-acuity patients

Preferred:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential

• Experience in an acute care or hospital setting

• Proficiency with ventilator management and critical care

Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory care procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical guidelines

• Administer oxygen therapy nebulizer treatments chest physiotherapy and related modalities

• Manage ventilators CPAP/BiPAP and advanced airway equipment

• Monitor assess and document patient responses to respiratory therapy

• Respond promptly to emergency situations including rapid response and code blue events

• Provide patient and family education on respiratory conditions and equipment

• Collaborate closely with nurses physicians and care teams to support optimal outcomes
