Job Title: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse

Location: Rochester NY 14626
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift
Hours: 12 hrs/day 3 days/week 36 hrs/week
Shift Time:

7:00 PM 7:00 AM12 hrs/day 3 days/week 36 hrs/week
Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)12 hrs/day 4 days/week 48 hrs/week

Position Summary

A skilled and experienced ER Registered Nurse is needed for a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will be able to respond quickly to critical situations provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients in urgent and emergent conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform rapid assessments and triage for incoming emergency patients.
Provide care for acute illnesses trauma critical injuries and medical emergencies.
Administer medications start IVs perform wound care and support life-saving interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to carry out treatment plans.
Operate and monitor medical equipment (EKG cardiac monitors ventilators etc.).
Document assessments treatments and patient responses accurately and promptly.
Maintain patient safety and follow all emergency department protocols.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York (or compact state eligible).
Minimum 12 years of recent ER nursing experience required.
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS (TNCC preferred).
Strong critical thinking decision-making and crisis management abilities.
Ability to work independently on night shifts in a high-volume ER setting.
