Job Summary
Progressive Rehabilitation Medicine is a Cedar Rapids Iowa based provider of rehabilitation services. We provide a wide variety of non-surgical minimally invasive treatments; including Stem Cell Therapy Deep Tissue Laser Therapy Botox Electromagnetic Field Therapy and more.
As a Registered Nurse at Progressive Rehabilitation Medicine PC you will positively and directly impact the lives of others by or providing and coordinating quality patient care educating patients and their families and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess monitor and record patient medical histories symptoms and vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plan in partnership with the physicians.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment and ensure all medical equipment functions properly.
- Comply with all federal state and local nursing regulations standards and policies.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum of 2 years RN experience preferred.
License: Must hold a current active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Iowa.
Certifications: Current Heart Association BLS ACLS
Skills: Demonstrated leadership ability strong communication and interpersonal skills and placing IVs is a plus.
