Responsibilities and Impact:

This role will fuel the growth of S&P Global Energy by securing new client partnerships across multiple segments in Latin America. You will have the opportunity to advance your career within a global company that fosters a fast-paced and growing atmosphere. You will lead the sales of S&P Global Energy products and services across diverse industries within Latin America.

  • Identify and initiate relationships with new prospective clients.
  • Build and nurture strong lasting relationships with client organizations addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop an exceptional and up-to-date understanding of S&P Global Energy products and functionality and how they apply to specific client roles and functions.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts and maintain an up-to-date pipeline contacts and meeting records in the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Stay informed about competitor offerings to identify strengths and areas for improvement in S&P Global Energy solutions.
  • Contribute to business strategy through a deep understanding of industry requirements market trends and client needs.
  • Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales specialists other departments and channel partners as needed to proactively address customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain territory and account plans outlining how sales targets will be consistently achieved.

What Were Looking For:

  • Fluency in English Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Bachelors degree in business commerce or a related field.
  • Relevant consultative sales experience.
  • Strong communication organizational presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Personal integrity and a confident positive demeanor.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive initiative energy and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team-based environment and independently.
  • Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.
  • A proven and successful track record in new business development.
  • Motivated by expanding business beyond perceived limits.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
