Local Pay Rate: $80$85/hr

Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures. The role ensures accurate and safe imaging maintains lab equipment provides patient education and delivers diagnostic support in alignment with regulatory and institutional standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment ensuring safety and accuracy.
Perform imaging procedures following established protocols and regulatory requirements.
Prepare patients for imaging provide education and address questions to ensure comfort and compliance.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and adhere to radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
Verify patient identity procedure orders and documentation prior to exams.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure records per institutional state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians radiologists and clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy and workflow.
Assist with equipment testing calibration and quality assurance.
Follow all departmental and organizational policies including workflow compliance and patient care standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification.
Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Radiologic Technologist License issued by New York State Department of Health.
BCLS certification.

Preferred:

Experience with Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT systems.
Familiarity with union work environments.
Bachelors Degree in a related discipline.
