Job Summary
Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day/Night 312.5-hour shifts
Local Pay Range: $55$60 hourly
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Poolfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care & Documentation
Deliver safe effective patient care using the full nursing process.
Perform ongoing patient assessments including physical psychological and social domains.
Communicate assessment findings to interdisciplinary care teams.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
Leadership & Resource Support
Serve as a resource for patient care unit processes and orientation of new staff.
Demonstrate competency in the charge nurse role when assigned.
Utilize computerized nursing informatics proficiently.
Quality Safety & Compliance
Participate in monitoring quality indicators and evaluating patient outcomes.
Adhere to safety and infection control policies.
Maintain confidentiality and meet all regulatory requirements.
Professional Development
Assess personal learning needs and maintain records of professional development.
Stay current with clinical practices appropriate to patient populations.
Participate in nursing committees as applicable.
Other Duties
Represent the hospital positively in interactions with staff patients and the community.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current RN license in Massachusetts.
Current BLS certification.
Recent acute care Med/Surg experience (within 2 years).
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Must pass pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams prior to start.
Preferred:
BSN degree.
Experience caring for cardiac patients.
ACLS certification.
