This role offers a rare opportunity to lead engagements for top-tier venture capital and growth equity clients across the full fund life cycle. The ideal attorney brings deep fund formation experience sophisticated regulatory knowledge and a passion for advising both sponsors and institutional investors.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing
• 8 years of substantive fund formation experience working with sponsors
• Strong background handling structuring formation and operation of investment funds
• Significant experience advising on the Securities Act Exchange Act Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act
• Substantial experience representing institutional investors in private investment funds
• Demonstrated ability to advise on legal regulatory and compliance considerations across complex fund activities
• Prior experience at a national or international law firm of comparable rank
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-directed collaborative and committed to outstanding client service

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fund formation matters for venture capital and growth equity sponsors
• Advise clients on fund structuring regulatory strategy operational matters and compliance frameworks
• Represent institutional investors in private fund investments and ongoing program needs
• Serve as a trusted counselor on sensitive governance regulatory and transactional issues
• Collaborate closely with cross-office colleagues to support a globally-integrated fund services practice
• Mentor junior team members and help strengthen the groups knowledge base and best practices

• Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary of $435000 as determined by experience and market factors
