Senior Commercial Excellence Manager
Location: Cary NC (Hybrid/Onsite)
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Excellence Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that strengthen commercial performance across sales marketing and go-to-market operations. This role will spearhead transformational programs across commercial technologies reporting and analytics and GTM executiondriving better decision-making operational efficiency and revenue outcomes.
This is a highly cross-functional role partnering closely with Commercial Marketing IT/Data Finance and regional leadership teams to design implement and scale commercial excellence capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Excellence Strategy & Execution
  • Lead commercial excellence initiatives aligned to strategic business priorities.
  • Ensure commercial data reporting and analytics projects are executed effectively and adopted across teams.
  • Partner with global and regional stakeholders to deliver consistent scalable solutions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Commercial Marketing IT/Data and Finance.
  • Facilitate alignment communication and execution across complex multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Analytics Reporting & Insights
  • Drive the development and enhancement of dashboards and reporting tools for commercial performance metrics.
  • Define and track KPIs customer segmentation and performance measures in partnership with Finance IT and Commercial teams.
  • Champion BI solutions (e.g. Power BI) to enable data-driven decision-making.
Change Management & Adoption
  • Lead change management and adoption strategies for new commercial tools reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates risks and stakeholder communications.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes automation and reporting efficiency.
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and scalability.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations and prioritized roadmaps for future commercial capabilities.
Project Management & Governance
  • Monitor project timelines budgets risks and outcomes.
  • Prepare executive-ready updates and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Analytics or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in commercial excellence sales operations revenue operations analytics or related roles.
  • Strong experience with commercial technologies CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and marketing data.
  • Deep expertise in BI and reporting tools (Power BI strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
