Content Creator - Pietermaritzburg
Our client is seeking a creative detail-oriented and digitally-savvy Content Creator to join their marketing team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Lead Marketer to plan develop and deliver content aligned with marketing campaigns brand guidelines and business objectives
Produce engaging written content for email campaigns blog posts website pages and social media platforms
Develop compelling storytelling that highlights destinations itineraries and customer experiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice
Optimise content for SEO to increase visibility and support organic digital growth
Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools and suggest improvements based on insights
Stay up to date with industry trends social media best practices and digital marketing innovations

Requirements

Proven experience as a Content Creator Copywriter or similar role
Strong writing editing and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms
Understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media trends
Experience with content management systems and basic analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics Meta Insights)
Portfolio of previous work (writing samples blog posts campaigns etc.)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities
Degree or diploma in Marketing Communications Journalism or a related field
Experience in the travel or tourism industry
Basic design skills (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite)
Understanding of email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp HubSpot)
