Job Summary
Were looking for an Engineering Managerto lead one of our Fintech teams at Mews. Youll manage a cross-functional team of 69 engineers building products that handle almost 10 billion in payments every year. Its a key role in one of the areas that brings the most revenue to Mews and pushes the limits of embedded payments and financial services.
Youll report to the Director of Engineering and work closely with a Product Manager and Product Designer. Together youll guide your team to deliver great fintech products improve developer experience and keep software quality high.
You wont be coding but youll need a solid engineering background. You should understand how modern SaaS development works and feel comfortable talking about architecture or reviewing technical decisions. More than anything youll help your team grow stay focused and keep improving how they work.

Lead a cross-functional team of 69 engineers.
Coach and mentor team members through regular 1:1s and feedback.
Define goals priorities and success metrics.
Work with Product and Design to plan and deliver the roadmap.
Help the team improve delivery flow and technical quality.
Contribute to hiring and long-term team growth.
