We are seeking an outgoing relationship-first Channel Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a high-impact role for a natural connector who thrives on meeting people building trust instantly and turning initial conversations into long-lasting commercial relationships.
In this role you wont just be selling a product; you will be influencing a network. You will work closely with the ecosystem (internal employees and customers) leveraging your knowledge of Make and the New York tech scene to drive growth. You will act as a sharer of information wrapping complex technical concepts in simple language to influence stakeholders ranging from individual sellers to Sales Directors.
Because this role involves a high volume of requests and moving parts you must possess the organizational mindset of a Project Manager combined with the heart of a Salesperson.
Responsibilities Include:
- Build & Nurture Relationships: Establish strong rapport and trust quickly with partners specifically within the ecosystem and sellers in the New York area.
- Influence Stakeholders: Ability to navigate and influence different seniority levels within partner organizations (from operational sellers to Sales Directors) to drive Make revenue.
- Project & Time Management: Manage a high volume of partner requests and opportunities with superior organizational skills. You will treat your territory like a portfolio of projects ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- Simplify Complexity: Act as a proactive communicator (a sharer not a keeper) translating complex automation and integration concepts into simple compelling value propositions for partners.
- Territory Management: Drive business across the US and Canada (with a primary focus on the NY hub) creating and executing a strategy to grow channel revenue.
- Collaborate Internally: Work with internal Make teams (Sales Product Marketing) to ensure partners have the tools and support they need to succeed.
Requirements:
- Sales & Industry Background: Strong background in SaaS sales specifically within CRM Marketing PM tools or Integrations/Automation.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the US market; experience working with sellers or customers is a distinct advantage.
- Relationship Superpower: You are genuinely extroverted and enjoy meeting people. You have a proven ability to build trust quickly and maintain it.
- Exceptional Communication: Native-level English is required. You must be able to articulate complex ideas simply.
- Organizational Excellence: Strong project management and time-management skills are essential to handle the high volume of activity in this role.
- Proactive Mindset: You are high-energy self-motivated and quick to share information rather than gatekeep it.
- Tech Savvy: Skilled in using CRM tools (Salesforce) LinkedIn and comfortable discussing API-led automation landscapes.
