HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Import / Export:
- Courier shipments follow up.
- Preparation and review of export documents.
- Status visibility to the brands invoices.
- Daily review the activity report from local broker to monitor customs lead-time.
- Follow up and assist with open cases reported in Ticketing tool.
- Oversight and assistance with core operational tasks.
The responsibilities outlined above represent the core focus of the internship; however the intern may be expected to support additional logistics-related tasks as they emerge in the dynamic day-to-day operations of the team.
WHO YOU ARE
Scholarship:
- College degree in Foreign Trade International Business or Logistics (preferred). Candidate can be enrolled in the final semester of a bachelors degree program.
- Minimum six months of experience.
- Familiarity with customs legislation including knowledge of Harmonized Tariff classification and Import & Export requirements for international shipping.
Skills:
- Fluent in English both spoken and written with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office intermediate-level skills in Excel PowerPoint and Outlook are essential. Power Bi knowledge is nice to have.
- Strong communication skills able to convey ideas clearly and confidently both in writing and verbally.
- Accountability demonstrates ownership of tasks and follows through on commitments.
- Self-management capable of working independently managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented precision and structure are key to success in this role.
- Team collaboration ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset comfortable interpreting data and drawing insights.
