The System Administrator will be responsible for overseeing managing and maintaining the organizations IT infrastructure ensuring optimal performance security and availability of systems and networks. The role involves configuring servers administering user accounts resolving technical issues implementing security protocols and delivering reliable IT support across departments. The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience in system administration strong troubleshooting skills and the capacity to handle both routine tasks and complex infrastructure challenges.
Install configure and maintain operating systems servers network devices and IT infrastructure components.
Monitor system performance run diagnostics and implement corrective measures to ensure optimal availability and uptime.
Manage user accounts permissions and access rights across applications and systems.
Perform routine system backups restore data and implement disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues ensuring timely resolution.
Apply system updates patches and security upgrades to safeguard IT assets.
Administer antivirus systems firewalls and security configurations to prevent unauthorized access.
Manage email servers cloud-based services and file-sharing systems.
Prepare IT documentation system reports inventory logs and asset tracking records.
Collaborate with vendors procurement teams and internal stakeholders to implement infrastructure improvements.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
3 years of proven experience as a System Administrator or relevant IT support role.
Strong understanding of server environments networking protocols and security practices.
Hands-on expertise in Windows/Linux server administration.
Knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN firewalls and network configuration.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Proficiency in Active Directory cloud services (Azure AWS) and backup solutions.
Ability to diagnose and resolve system and network performance issues.
Strong communication documentation and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
